PPECF Receives $500 Donation from Muse Search + Inspire!
February 19, 2019 - PPECF Member Erin Freeman graciously selected PPECF as the beneficiary of a $500 Donation from Muse! We are thankful to Kevin Rogers and the team at Muse for this generous donation to benefit the communities we serve.
PPECF Receives $1,000 Donation via Siemens Energy Positive Energy Campaign!
January 18, 2021 - Siemens Energy created a campaign to spread positive energy in the U.S. through donations to its employees’ favorite charities totaling $250,000 across 20 states. The nominated charities each created a one-minute video explaining their organization’s mission and how they would use a donation of up to $10,000 to continue serving their respective community. Each video was uploaded to a gallery, where members of the public could vote for their favorites by “liking” the videos.
A total of 122 charities were ultimately selected to receive donations ranging from $500 to $10,000 based on a combination of public “likes” and scores earned from a panel of judges.
PPECF Awarded Constellation Community Champions Grant (3rd year in a row)!
December 10, 2020 - PPECF received a $500 Grant from Constellation Energy Company to continue mentoring students who have survived extraordinarily challenging circumstances by exposing them to the ARTS in the surrounding Houston Metropolitan Area.
PPECF 2021 Scholarship Recipient Ryan Celestine Interns at Pearson+!
July 28, 2021 - Ryan Celestine, a PPECF 2021 Scholarship Recipient, interned with Pearson+ this summer and participated in a commercial to advertise a new App for college students. Check him out in the video below!
Ryan will also be the Campus Ambassador at Prairie View A&M University for the 2021-2022 Academic Year. PPECF is proud of the work Ryan is doing and we wish to congratulate him on this distinguished accomplishment.
